As one can say of a fine restaurant that it has a great wine list, Delas Frères, thanks to its diversified production organization (own vineyard estate, partnerships with growers, negociant), is in a position to offer a full range of wines from all along the Rhône Valley vineyards.

 Vineyard estate     

Delas Frères manages a 14 hectare (35 acre) estate within the appellations of Hermitage, St. Joseph and Crozes Hermitage.
 
The very finest holdings are to be found on the steep granite slopes of Hermitage, with 8 hectares of the plot called Les Bessards, and two of l’Ermite.

 Partnerships with growers     

A selection of the best sites provides fully ripe grapes to complete the Northern Rhone range. These come from the appellations of Côte Rôtie, Condrieu, Cornas and Saint-Péray, as well as the other appellations. This policy favours grape purchase from grower-suppliers, and enables us to improve the quality of our wines year after year. Growers who supply Delas are rarely under fixed contracts, as confidence and reliability are the key words. Regular technical assistance, with precise harvest dates established according to the specific maturity level of each plot, are used to ensure the best possible grapes.

 Negociant eleveur     

In the southern part of the Rhône Valley, Delas Frères purchases wines from owner-growers. The making of these estate-grown wines, as well as their maturing and blending, is carried out under the control of the Delas technical staff, whether they be Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Ventoux, Gigondas, Vacqueyras or Châteanneuf-du-Pape.
